MGT Sertanejo Universitário

MGT Sertanejo Universitário is an online radio channel from Brazil dedicated to sertanejo universitário, the modern, pop-influenced branch of Brazilian country music. The music is sung in Portuguese and centres on the polished, melodic duos and solo artists who dominate the genre in Brazil.

The channel is one of many stations offered by MGT Rádio, an online radio portal that describes itself as MGT Rádios Online do Brasil. Besides this channel the portal lists genres such as classic sertanejo, MPB, gospel, forró, dance, rock, 80s and country. The site does not name an individual owner beyond the MGT Rádio copyright notice, and no university affiliation is stated; the word universitário refers to the music genre.

Listeners can expect a continuous stream of sertanejo hits with little interruption, suited to anyone who enjoys Brazilian popular music. The stream is delivered as AAC audio at roughly 64 kbps over HTTPS, and it works in standard web players and apps. Further details such as presenters or schedules are not published on the official page.
