Radio Red 1110 AM

Radio Red 1110 AM is the online stream of XERED-AM, a 1110 kHz AM station in Mexico City, Mexico. It is owned by Grupo Radio Centro through Radio Red, S.A. de C.V., which acquired the station in 1994, and carries the Radio Red brand known for news, talk and sports in Spanish.

The station traces its history to 1930 as XEFO. The Radio Red news and talk format began in 1974. After a period off the air from January 2019 for a transmitter relocation, it returned in 2022 simulcasting the Universal music programming of sister FM station XHRED-FM, and it later retook the Radio Red name with news and sports content. Late nights and weekends feature English-language contemporary hits.

The stream is a 128 kbps AAC+ feed from StreamTheWorld. Current programming can differ from the descriptions above, as the schedule is not detailed here. The stream can be played in any browser or radio app that supports AAC, and it is free to listen to without registration. Because the on-air format has changed several times in recent years, the website redam.mx is the best place to check the current schedule.
