RPP Noticias

RPP Noticias is a Peruvian news and talk radio service whose live stream carries news bulletins, interviews and current-affairs programmes in Spanish. It is the audio side of RPP, one of the best known news brands in Peru, and focuses on national politics, the economy, society and sport as they happen.

The RPP website points to Grupo RPP as the company behind the brand, which also runs several music-focused sister stations such as Studio 92, Oxigeno, La Zona, Corazon, Felicidad and MegaMix. The language is Peruvian Spanish and the audience is mainly listeners in Peru and Peruvians abroad who want to follow events at home.

Expect spoken-word programming: live news coverage, interviews with public figures and analysis shows, with only a little music. The stream on RadioKite is an HTTPS AAC feed of about 128 kbps. The official RPP audio page also offers podcasts and on-demand programmes in addition to the live signal.
