Mix Megapol
About Mix Megapol
Mix Megapol is a Swedish commercial radio network that plays a mix of current pop hits and older favourites. It describes its sound as the best mix of hits and oldies, and the stream carries the network's pop programme.
The network began in 1993 as Skärgårdsradion and was renamed Radio Megapol the same year. The word Mix was added in 1997. It is owned by Bauer Media Group, which bought it from SBS Discovery in 2015, and broadcasts from many cities across Sweden, from Malmö in the south to Kiruna in the north. Its main target group is adults between 25 and 45.
Listeners can expect familiar pop music from several decades, with presenters and news in Swedish. The online stream is MP3 at 128 kbps in stereo over HTTPS, hosted on Bauer's streaming platform, and plays in any browser or radio app. The stream address for this entry was corrected, as the previous one carried Bauer's separate classic rock channel Rock Klassiker instead of Mix Megapol.
