Retro FM Latvija

Retro FM Latvija is the Latvian branch of the Retro FM music radio brand, broadcasting mostly in Russian. Its main programme is described as the best hits of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, mixing pop and dance favourites from those decades for an adult audience.

The station's website, retrofm.lv, is in Russian and also links to Latvian-language material, and it lists scheduled shows such as a weekday morning programme, a lunchtime show, an evening programme and a Friday and Saturday disco evening. The site also offers sister streams, Retro FM Disco with dance hits and Retro FM 90's with 90s hits. The owner and exact broadcast frequencies are not stated on the pages reviewed, so they are not given here.

Listeners can expect familiar nostalgic songs, light presenter chat and themed shows. The online stream is AAC+ at roughly 96 to 108 kbit/s in stereo, delivered over HTTPS through a streaming provider, and it plays in standard web players, phones and smart speakers.
