98.8 KISS FM Oldschool & Hip Hop

98.8 KISS FM Oldschool & Hip Hop is a themed webstream of KISS FM, a German station that presents itself as the home of hip hop and R'n'B. This stream concentrates on old school hip hop, the rap classics from the golden era and the years around it.

KISS FM is heard on FM and DAB+ in and around Berlin and Hamburg, with Munich also mentioned on its website, and it offers several genre streams online, of which this is the old school one. Who owns the station is not stated on its website. The station presents itself in German, while the music is largely English-language rap, so listeners do not need to speak German to enjoy the programme.

Listeners can expect boom-bap beats, sample-driven classics and well-known R&B crossovers rather than the newest chart releases. The stream is delivered over HTTPS as MP3 at 128 kbit/s stereo, and reports its name as KissFM Old School Hiphop. It works in any browser or radio app that supports standard MP3 streaming.
