ON Radio Black

ON Radio's Black channel plays hip hop, R&B, soul and urban pop. It is one of a family of genre streams from the German web radio network, so listeners can choose a style and stay in it. The playlist offers the current sound of the charts, with rap, trap, contemporary R&B and urban pop, mixed with soul favourites and hip hop classics, giving the stream a modern but rooted character. The mood is confident and rhythmic, and the programme is designed to accompany workouts, commutes and social occasions.

ON Radio is an internet-only operator, so its channels can be heard anywhere and run around the clock with very little talk. The occasional announcements are in German, but the music is mostly in English and international. For listeners who want urban music without having to build their own playlists, a dedicated stream is a handy and quick solution, and it can be a good way to keep up with new releases. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, which gives a balanced sound with solid bass on both desktop and mobile devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite, and you can add it to your favourites.
