70-80 Hits

70-80 Hits is an Italian web radio dedicated to the music of the 1970s and 1980s. Its website, 70-80.it, describes the idea as capturing the mood of those two decades, and it says the playlist features only the top 40 hits of each year from 1970 to 1989. Expect familiar chart songs from that period.

The station is produced and distributed by Planet s.r.l., a company based in Legnano, near Milan, which the site's footer lists as the owner of the trademark. The website and presentation are in Italian, while the songs themselves are largely international hits of the era.

The stream is a high-quality 320 kbps stereo MP3 at 48 kHz, served over HTTPS, which is why it is sometimes marked as HQ in directories. It was checked and decodes cleanly. It is a good choice for listeners who want nostalgic chart music without long talk breaks, though a detailed schedule and presenter list are not published on the homepage.
