JOE

JOE is a Dutch commercial radio station playing classic hits. Its music centres on pop from the 1970s and 1980s, and the station deliberately does not play new releases, which gives it a familiar, feel-good sound for adult listeners across the Netherlands.

JOE is owned by DPG Media, which launched the Dutch station in 2023 after securing a second national FM frequency. It had been streamed online before that, and it reached DAB+ in May 2022 and nationwide FM in September 2023. The brand also exists in Belgium, where it is a separate Dutch-language station, and in the Netherlands it has an extra channel called JOE non-stop. Presentation is in Dutch.

Expect well-known hits mixed with presenter-led shows during the day. The stream on RadioKite is an MP3 feed at 128 kbps, and it was checked and is currently delivering audio. Detailed schedule and presenter information is not covered here, since the details change often and could not be verified from the pages we could read.
