Classical KUSC

Classical KUSC is a classical music radio station from Southern California, branded as part of Classical California. It plays a broad range of classical repertoire, from baroque and orchestral works to opera, chamber music and film music. This stream is the live broadcast as a 256 kbps MP3, a higher bitrate than most web radio streams.

The Classical California website describes the service as a public service of USC (the University of Southern California). Its programmes include Mozart in the Morning, The Opera Show, California Sings, Glissando and Movie Magic Radio, along with artist playlists. The station's older address, kusc.org, now redirects to classicalcalifornia.org. The website text I could read did not give the station's home city or broadcast frequencies.

Listeners can expect a mostly music-led schedule in English, with presenters introducing the pieces. The station also offers on-demand content, an app and a schedule on its website. The stream uses a standard HTTPS MP3 connection and should play in most browsers and players.
