Radio X London

Radio X London is the London stream of Radio X, a UK radio station playing guitar-led rock and alternative music. Its playlist centres on indie, alternative rock and Britpop, drawing on the 1990s and 2000s alongside newer guitar bands.

Radio X is owned by Global, which also runs Capital, Heart and LBC, and broadcasts in English from London. The station grew out of the former Xfm brand and is aimed mainly at adult listeners who grew up with indie and alternative rock. Expect music from established guitar acts, presenter-led shows, news updates and some talk between tracks.

Listeners who like bands from the Britpop era onwards, along with current indie and rock releases, are the natural audience. Show lineups change over time, so the current schedule and presenters are best checked on the official Radio X website.

This stream is a 128 kbps stereo MP3 and reports its genre as indie and alternative.
