SomaFM Left Coast 70s

This stream carries SomaFM's Left Coast 70s, a channel of mellow album rock from the Seventies, with the friendly note that a yacht is not required. It focuses on soft rock, yacht rock and singer-songwriters from California and the wider West Coast, with warm harmonies, analogue production and relaxed grooves, from the big names of the era to album tracks and deeper cuts that rarely get airplay. The pace is easy and sun-soaked.

SomaFM is an independent, listener-supported internet radio station based in San Francisco that has been on air since 1999. It carries no advertising and is programmed by hand. This entry is the high-quality version, an MP3 stream at 320 kbps, the highest bitrate the format supports and one of the best-sounding options for anyone listening on good headphones or a home audio system. It needs more bandwidth than the standard 128 kbps stream, so on a slow or metered mobile connection one of the other versions listed on RadioKite may be a better choice. The artist and title are displayed as each track changes.
