Global News Radio 640 Toronto

Global News Radio 640 is a Toronto news and talk station on the AM dial, with the call sign CFIQ. The schedule includes news bulletins, traffic, weather, interviews, talk shows and phone-ins, presented in English by well-known hosts. The tone is informative and conversational. The stream runs around the clock, so there is always something to hear whatever the hour. Because it is delivered over the internet, it is not tied to a single frequency or country, and it can be heard wherever you have a connection.

Canada has a diverse radio landscape, with the public CBC and Radio-Canada services, large commercial groups, campus and community stations and many multilingual and online broadcasters, and its radio reflects a country of English, French and many other languages. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotional messages between programmes. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, a standard quality that sounds clear on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
