Radio Seva

Radio Seva is a Russian-language internet radio associated with Seva Novgorodsev, the Russian-British broadcaster who became a legend of the BBC Russian Service with his programmes about rock and pop music for audiences in the Soviet Union. The programme combines rock, pop and classic songs with talk, humour and stories in Russian, in the personal and witty style of its founder. The mood is warm, ironic and nostalgic.

The United Kingdom has one of the most developed radio markets in the world, with the BBC, large commercial groups and a growing number of online-only stations, and British radio is heard by listeners far beyond the country through the internet. The station is addressed to Russian speakers in Britain and around the world, and it carries a thoughtful mixture of music and conversation. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, a standard quality that sounds clear on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
