Ice Radio

Ice Radio is a Dutch internet station that calls itself the only free format radio station in the Netherlands, with the motto "geen playlist maar passie" (no playlist, but passion). Instead of a fixed chart rotation, its presenters choose the music themselves, so the programme ranges across alternative, indie, rock, blues, soul, country, hip hop and electronic music, plus shows devoted to classic cars and car culture.

The station broadcasts in Dutch and its website lists a team of presenters hosting individual shows, alongside non-stop music blocks between them. The site does not publish details about the owner or operator, so those are not stated here. Because every show has its own host and taste, the sound changes noticeably from one programme to the next, which suits listeners who like surprises over predictable playlists.

The stream on RadioKite is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps in stereo, a standard quality that sounds clear on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
