FM80 Funky Music

FM80 Funky Music is a French web radio playing funk and groove from the 1970s and 1980s. The programme offers slap bass, wah-wah guitars, horn sections, falsetto vocals and danceable rhythms, from classic funk and soul to boogie and post-disco, with a warm and joyful tone. The mood is groovy and made for dancing.

France has a large and varied radio landscape, from the public networks of Radio France to national commercial brands and many independent web stations, and French-language radio is a rich source of listening practice for learners and a link with home for French speakers abroad. The station is an independent online service, and the details of its operators are not fully published. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 192 kbps, a generous bitrate that gives speech and music a clear and full sound on most devices. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
