70s 80s Disco Funk Modern Soul Boogie

70s 80s Disco Funk Modern Soul Boogie is an internet radio channel dedicated to disco, funk, modern soul, boogie and rare grooves from the 1970s and 1980s. It mixes well-known records with deeper cuts and vinyl rarities, and weekends also bring DJ mixes.

The channel is the second thematic channel of FUNKY.radio. According to the site's footer it is operated by the Italian publisher Radio Tematiche ETS, with the music selection curated by Master Concertino (Marcello Manco) and Gianluigi Petruccio listed as creator and station manager of FUNKY RADIO. The website is presented mainly in English.

Listeners can expect a groove-focused programme of dancefloor classics, soulful boogie and funk from the golden age of disco, with little talk between the tracks. The stream is delivered over HTTPS as MP3 at 192 kbps, stereo, and it plays continuously, so it suits both background listening and dedicated fans of the genre who want to discover less obvious tracks from the era.
