Radio Regenbogen Flashback

Radio Regenbogen Flashback is a web-only channel from Radio Regenbogen, the private broadcaster based in Mannheim, Germany. It is dedicated to hits from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, offering a retro soundtrack built around three formative decades of pop music.

The playlist is described as a curated mix of well-known classics and lesser-known songs. Styles range from synth-pop and new wave to rock, grunge, hip hop, eurodance, soul, metal, punk and blues, and German-language pop, rock and rap also have a place. The presentation is in German, and the music is a mix of German and international titles.

Expect a continuous music stream with a nostalgic character, aimed at listeners who grew up with these decades or who simply enjoy older pop and rock hits. The stream is delivered as AAC at roughly 128 kbps over HTTPS and plays in browsers, apps and most internet radio devices. As a web-only offshoot it is not tied to a broadcast frequency, so it is available wherever an internet connection exists.
