Fréquence 3 Gold

Fréquence 3 Gold is a web radio channel of the French network Fréquence 3, playing the best of 1980s and 1990s music with the promise of no advertising. The stream is delivered as lossless FLAC audio in an Ogg container.

Fréquence 3 was founded in 2001 and is described as one of the first French digital radios. It is run by a team of volunteers, and its local FM stations serve Touraine and Loir-et-Cher, while Gold is an internet-only channel. The website and presentation are in French, though much of the music is in English.

Expect a continuous run of pop, dance, soul and new wave hits from the eighties and nineties, such as Snap!, Soul II Soul and Blur. The channel suits listeners who want nostalgic hits and oldies without commercial interruptions, and the lossless stream suits those with a good connection and quality audio equipment.

The stream metadata lists the genre as 80's 90's oldies. Details of the studio location for Gold are not published on the channel page.
