Free FM 80s

Free FM 80s is an internet radio channel dedicated to the music of the 1980s. It plays the decade of synthesizers, drum machines and music television, with pop, new wave, rock, dance and soul favourites, mixing the biggest hits with songs that were popular on the radio and in clubs. The mood is nostalgic and upbeat, with continuous music and little talk.

The channel is one of the themed stations of Free FM World, the official portal of the Free FM project, which also offers stations for rock, classics, current hits, chill, classical music and more. The portal is written in Spanish and addresses listeners in Spain, Latin America and elsewhere, while the songs on this channel are mostly in English. The portal describes the project as its own and does not publish details about owners or its exact location, so those are not stated here.

The stream is delivered as MP3 at 320 kbps, the highest bitrate the format supports, which gives synthesizers, drums and vocals a clean, full sound, particularly on good headphones. It needs more bandwidth than a typical stream. It plays in your browser on RadioKite, and you can add it to your favourites.
