FlaixBAC

Flaixbac is a Catalan-language music radio station from Catalonia, playing a continuous mix of pop and chart hits aimed mainly at a young audience. This stream carries the station's programming over the internet as AAC audio at roughly 128 kbps.

Flaixbac is part of Grup Flaix, the Catalan media group founded in 1992 by journalists Miquel Calçada and Carles Cuní, which also owns Flaix FM. The station began in 1994 as Flashback FM, focused on music from the 1970s and 1980s, and was later renamed Ràdio Flaixbac. Together with Flaix FM it is known for broadcasting advertising exclusively in Catalan, and its terrestrial signal reaches Catalonia and other Catalan-speaking territories such as the Balearic Islands, Valencia and Andorra.

Listeners can expect music-led programming with short presenter links, mostly in Catalan with some Spanish, and a strong emphasis on promoting Catalan-language culture and artists alongside international hits. The online stream lets listeners outside the broadcast area tune in to the same output.
