Radio Tromsø Hits

Radio Tromsø Hits is a Norwegian web radio station playing pop and chart hits. Its tagline in radio directories is "Byens beste hitmusikk", meaning the city's best hit music, and the stream identifies its genre as pop.

The station is run from the Radio Tromsø site, whose footer names Radio Tromsø AS as the company behind it, and it is based in Tromsø in northern Norway. The programming is in Norwegian, while the music is the international and Norwegian pop that makes up the current charts. Details about ownership of the Hits channel, its schedule and its presenters are not published on the pages we could read.

Listeners can expect a steady flow of recognisable pop songs, suited to background listening at home or at work. The stream is delivered over HTTPS as stereo MP3 at 192 kbit/s, which gives clean sound for a web-only service, and it can be played through the web player on the station's site or in any app that accepts a direct stream address.
