Radio Norge

Radio Norge is a national commercial radio station in Norway that plays a broad mix of pop hits, combining current chart music with favourites from the past several decades. It is aimed at a wide adult audience and is presented in Norwegian with regular hosts, news and entertainment alongside the music.

The station is owned by Bauer Media, which runs a range of advertising-funded national channels in Norway. Radio Norge began broadcasting in April 2008, replacing the earlier national channel Kanal 24, and it is distributed nationally on DAB and online, since Norway switched off its national FM networks in 2017. Its sister stations from the same owner include Radio 1, Radio Rock and Radio Topp 40.

Expect familiar, easy-going pop and hits programming suitable for the workplace, the car or at home, with spoken segments and advertising in between the songs, as is usual for a commercial broadcaster. Most of the music is international and sung in English, while the hosts speak Norwegian. This stream is an MP3 feed at 128 kbps in stereo, delivered over HTTPS, and the station can also be found through the Radioplay service listed as its homepage.
