ICI Première Montréal
About ICI Première Montréal
ICI Première Montréal is the Montreal service of ICI Radio-Canada Première, the French-language news and talk network of Radio-Canada, the French-language arm of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The station broadcasts on 95.1 FM under the call sign CBF-FM and is a non-commercial public radio outlet.
The schedule is built around news, current affairs, interviews, culture and discussion programmes in French, mixing local Montreal content with programming shared across the Première network. Its studios are at Maison Radio-Canada in Montreal. The station has been on the air since 1937, first on AM and, since 1998, on FM.
Listeners can expect spoken-word radio aimed at a general French-speaking audience in Quebec and beyond: regular news bulletins, morning and afternoon information programmes, cultural magazines and some music. The stream on RadioKite is delivered as 128 kbps MP3 stereo through a StreamTheWorld relay, and it carries the same programming as the over-the-air signal. Programme details and schedules are published on the official Radio-Canada website.
