MDR JUMP

MDR JUMP is a German pop and hits radio station operated by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR), the ARD public broadcaster for Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. It plays current chart music together with popular hits from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, presented in German by a team of hosts with a morning show, daytime programming and evening shows.

As part of the public broadcasting system of ARD, the station is financed mainly by the German broadcasting contribution and carries regional information such as news, traffic and weather for central Germany alongside its music. Its slogan stresses an eastern German home and a focus on favourite hits. In Saxony-Anhalt it is received on FM, for example on 90.2 in Halle and 103.0 in Magdeburg, and it is also available via digital radio and online.

Expect an accessible, mainstream mix aimed at a broad adult audience: well-known pop and rock songs, regional reports and light entertainment. The stream offered here is a 128 kbps MP3 feed of the live programme.
