Radio Pakistan Peshawar MW

Radio Pakistan Peshawar MW is the medium wave service of Radio Pakistan's Peshawar station, relayed online. Radio Pakistan is the national public broadcaster of Pakistan, operated under the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, and the Peshawar station, which opened in 1935, is the oldest radio station in the country.

The Peshawar station serves the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and surrounding regions. Radio Pakistan has historically broadcast in Urdu and Pashto from Peshawar, though the current programme schedule for this particular medium wave service was not available in the sources consulted, so the exact mix of programmes is not confirmed here.

As a public service broadcaster, listeners can generally expect news, current affairs, talk and cultural programming. The stream is delivered over HTTPS as MP3 at 192 kbps in stereo. Its metadata carries no station name, so it appears in players as a generic stream. Listeners can tune in for free from anywhere, which makes it possible to follow the regional broadcaster without owning a medium wave receiver.
