Europe1

Europe 1 is a French national news and talk radio station. Its schedule is built around news bulletins, interviews, political and current-affairs debate, and discussion programmes, all in French.

Europe 1 is one of the long-established generalist radio stations in France and belongs to the Lagardère group. Like other French generalist networks it combines morning news, analysis, talk shows and some society and culture programming through the day and evening. Editorial positions and the details of the current schedule are best checked on the station's own website, where programmes, presenters and podcasts are listed.

The stream on RadioKite is a 128 kbps AAC feed of the live broadcast, suitable for desktop and mobile listening. Expect spoken-word content rather than a continuous music playlist, with news updates at regular intervals. It is a good choice for listeners who want to follow French news, public debate and interviews as they happen, and a useful way to practise listening to spoken French at natural speed.
