Los Megaexitos

Los Megaexitos is an internet radio station themed around the Spanish Mediterranean coast. Its website presents it as the musical essence of that coast, and it plays a broad mix of hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s through to today's songs, along with disco classics and danceable favourites.

The station is a web-only service with no FM or AM frequency, and its owner is not named on the site. Its programming is in Spanish, and the website mentions places along the Mediterranean seaboard such as Mojacar, Alicante, Benidorm and Torrevieja, which points to an audience on the Spanish east and south-east coast. The site also lists a planned second channel called Beach Anthem, with chillout, lounge, ambient and deep house versions, which was marked as coming soon at the time of writing. A mobile app is said to be in development.

Expect an easy-going, feel-good selection of well-known pop and dance songs suited to dancing, relaxing or driving, with playlists arranged by mood or activity. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 192 kbps, which gives good sound quality for a web-only station and works well on both desktop and mobile connections.
