Forever 80

Forever 80 is an Italian internet station playing 80s dance music. The programme revisits the decade of Italo disco, synth-pop and dance hits in a nostalgic, energetic flow. The stream runs around the clock, so there is always something to hear whatever the hour. Because it is delivered over the internet, it is not tied to a single frequency or country, and it can be heard wherever you have a connection. A station like this works well as an all-day background, and it is easy to leave running at home, in the shop or at the office.

Italy has a deep tradition of dance music. Announcements are in Italian and brief. The station is an independent online service, and the details of its operators and schedule are not fully published, so the programme may vary. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, a standard quality that sounds clear on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
