BRF2

BRF2 is the second radio programme of the Belgischer Rundfunk (BRF), the public broadcaster of the German-speaking Community of Belgium. It has been on air since 2001 and is aimed at listeners who enjoy schlager and folk music, mixed with regional information from the east of Belgium.

The BRF is based in Eupen and also operates studios in Brussels and St. Vith. It runs three radio programmes, a television offering and an online portal, and BRF2 sits alongside BRF1, which has a broader profile. BRF2 is also available via DAB+ in the south of Belgium, in Brussels and in parts of Flanders. The station broadcasts live events from the community, such as the Eupen Tirolerfest, and special programmes at festive times of the year.

The language of the station is German, with local news and community reporting for the German-speaking population of Belgium. Expect easy-listening schlager, folk and popular German-language music through the day. This stream is an MP3 feed at 128 kbps in stereo.
