Generations Rap US Gold

Generations Rap US Gold is one of the themed webradios of Generations, the French station that describes itself as a hip hop and soul radio. As the name suggests, this channel is devoted to American rap, with an emphasis on older, classic material.

Generations is based in France and also broadcasts on FM, for example in Lyon on 101.5 MHz, alongside a series of online channels covering rap, soul, R&B, funk and more. The website is in French. The ownership of the station is not stated on its homepage, and the exact playlist policy of this channel is not published, so those details are omitted here.

Listeners can expect a music-driven stream of US rap tracks, mostly in English, introduced by the station's French branding. The stream is delivered over HTTPS as MP3 at 128 kbit/s in stereo, which plays in any browser, phone app or connected speaker. It is a good fit for fans of golden-era and classic American hip hop who want a continuous channel.
