Nova Hip-Hop

Nova Hip-Hop is a thematic web radio from Radio Nova, the Paris-based station founded in 1981 by Jean-François Bizot. It is dedicated to hip hop and rap, drawn from the wider Nova universe, which is known for an eclectic, non-mainstream and often underground selection of music.

Nova Hip-Hop is one of several web radios run by Radio Nova alongside channels such as Nova Reggae, Nova Soul, Nova Classics and Nouvo Nova. The station is aimed at French-speaking listeners, and the presentation is in French. The detailed schedule and playlist policy of this particular channel are not published in the sources we could check, so listeners should expect a continuous music flow rather than a fixed programme grid.

The stream is delivered over HTTPS as AAC audio at roughly 256 kbps in stereo, hosted on Infomaniak infrastructure, which gives clean sound for both desktop and mobile listening. It is a good choice for anyone who wants a curated hip hop channel with the independent spirit of Nova, without needing to follow the main Radio Nova schedule. The station can be listened to free of charge through the player on the official Nova website.
