ENERGY Made in Germany

ENERGY Made in Germany is a dedicated stream of ENERGY, the German hit radio brand, with a focus on music from German artists. It mixes current pop and rap with hits from the German-speaking scene and is presented in the brand's "Hit Music Only" style.

ENERGY presents itself as a national German pop and dance station with regional studios in cities such as Stuttgart, Munich, Hamburg and Berlin, and it says its presenters are real people rather than AI voices. The brand is linked to the NRJ group, although the station's own page does not state the owner. This Made in Germany channel is a themed variant of the main programme, and the language is German.

Expect upbeat, mainstream, chart-oriented programming that suits daytime listening, with a young and pop-minded audience in mind. Songs are typically recent hits and well-known favourites rather than deep cuts, and the sound is polished and energetic. The stream is AAC at roughly 68 kbit/s, a fairly low bitrate that is well suited to mobile connections.
