Rétro Souvenirs

Rétro Souvenirs is a French-language internet radio station playing oldies and chart hits, mainly from the 1950s to the 1980s. The station describes itself as the radio for those nostalgic for the good old years, and its programme is a jukebox of hit parades, pop, rock and chanson. The mood is warm and nostalgic, and the stream runs around the clock.

According to its website, Rétro Souvenirs is a Quebec business, with listeners mentioned in Trois-Rivières, Montréal, Toronto and Laval. It is hosted by a European distribution company that handles copyright payments. The owner is not named on the page, and a detailed schedule is not published, so the programme may vary.

The stream is delivered as AAC+ at about 64 kbps, a low bitrate that keeps data use small and is adequate for casual listening, though the sound is less detailed than on higher-bitrate streams. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
