Musiq'3

Musiq'3 is the classical music channel of RTBF, the public broadcaster of French-speaking Belgium. It plays classical music from the early repertoire to contemporary works, with concerts, recordings, opera and chamber music, and some jazz, introduced in French by presenters who explain the works and their background.

The channel began in 1961 as the Troisième Programme of the former RTB, later went by Radio Trois and Musique 3, and has used the Musiq'3 name since 2004. RTBF is a public service broadcaster, and Musiq'3 serves Brussels and Wallonia on FM and DAB+. It often broadcasts concerts from Belgian venues and is associated with the Festival Musiq'3 in Brussels.

Expect a calm, cultured programme with spoken announcements in French kept short between pieces, suitable for work, study or relaxing evenings. This stream is delivered as MP3 at about 320 kbps, a high bitrate that suits orchestral and chamber music well, and it plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation.
