Radio Mix Retro

Radio Mix Retro is an online radio station from Venezuela that plays a retro mix of Latin music. Its catalogue is tagged with hits from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, with salsa and other Latin styles at the centre of the programme. The station identifies itself on the stream as Radio Mix Retro.

The station is linked to Producciones Stereo Show, whose website is the homepage listed for it. Broadcasts are in Spanish and the audience is Spanish-speaking listeners who enjoy nostalgic dance and tropical music from past decades. Detailed information about the owners, on-air hosts and a programme schedule is not published on the pages we could read, so none is given here.

Listeners can expect a continuous flow of familiar songs from several eras rather than a single narrow genre, which makes it a good choice for background listening or for revisiting older favourites. The stream is delivered over HTTPS as AAC+ audio at roughly 64 kbps in stereo, so it works well on mobile connections and in small players. Because it is an internet-only service, it can be heard from anywhere with a connection, not just within Venezuela.
