The Voice

The Voice is a Bulgarian music radio station that focuses on popular international pop music. Its stated mission is to bring global hits to listeners aged roughly 18 to 35, and its playlist is built mostly around current pop with some recent favourites.

The station has been on the air in Bulgaria since April 2007 and is listed on FM in Sofia. It has a morning show called Morning Voice, and its website, thevoice.bg, hosts audience voting for the BG Voice Top 10 chart. It shares its name with a separate music TV channel in Bulgaria, which is described as a sister channel. Sources disagree about the current owner, so ownership is not stated here.

Expect a contemporary, upbeat sound with presenters speaking Bulgarian between songs and a lot of English-language pop in the music. This stream is delivered over HTTPS as HLS (an m3u8 playlist) with AAC audio at about 105 kbps, suited to modern browsers and mobile players.
