Latcho Flamenco

Latcho Flamenco is an internet radio station dedicated to flamenco music. It streams a continuous programme of flamenco songs and guitar pieces, and identifies itself in its stream metadata as Latcho Flamenco' WebRadio.

The station is hosted on the RadioKing platform and is catalogued here under France, with a website at latchoflamenco.wifeosite.com. The word latcho is used in Romani to mean good or true, which fits the music's deep roots in Andalusian Gitano culture, although the station's own pages could not be read, so details about its owner, presenters and programming are not published in the sources checked. Expect the sung material to be mainly in Spanish, as is usual for flamenco, alongside instrumental guitar.

The stream is delivered over HTTPS as stereo MP3 at 128 kbps and 44.1 kHz, a good balance of quality and data use for phones and computers. It works as an easy way to explore cante, toque and baile-inspired music from the flamenco tradition without needing to choose individual tracks.
