NRK Super

NRK Super is the children's radio channel of NRK, the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, Norway's public broadcaster. It is aimed at children and plays music and programmes made for a young audience, in Norwegian. The service began in 2007 under the name NRK Barn, and it is part of the wider NRK Super brand, which also includes a television channel and an app.

As a public service channel, NRK Super is run by NRK, which is funded by public money rather than advertising. It is distributed on DAB and online. Detailed schedules and playlists are published on NRK's radio site rather than in the stream itself, whose metadata lists the genre only as various.

This stream is a 192 kbps stereo MP3 feed at 48 kHz, delivered through NRK's own streaming infrastructure. Listeners can expect child-friendly music mixed with programmes and presenter links in Norwegian. It is a useful station for families and for anyone learning Norwegian at a gentle level.
