bigFM Deutscher Hip-Hop

bigFM Deutscher Hip-Hop is a themed webstream of bigFM, a German private radio network aimed at young listeners. The channel focuses on German-language hip-hop and rap, with a mix of current chart tracks from the German scene.

bigFM is known for its youth-oriented programme of pop, dance, hip-hop and rap, and it runs many extra web channels next to its main programme, each devoted to a particular style. This one is dedicated to hip-hop from Germany. Detailed playlists and presenters are not published for the stream, so expect a continuous run of music with brief station identifications, in German.

The stream is delivered as AAC at roughly 128 kbps in stereo, which works well on mobile data and at home. It suits listeners who want current German rap and hip-hop without interruption by a long talk format, and it is a convenient way to follow what is popular in the German hip-hop scene at the moment.
