BBN Biblischer Hörfunk

BBN Biblischer Hörfunk is the German-language stream of the Bible Broadcasting Network, a listener-supported Christian radio ministry. It offers Bible teaching, sermons and devotional programmes in German, along with Christian music and audio dramas, around the clock.

The Bible Broadcasting Network is a non-profit organisation based in Charlotte, North Carolina in the United States, founded by Lowell Davey in 1971. It provides internet audio in several languages, and the German service is one of them. According to the German website, the work is funded by listener donations, and on-demand programmes are available there for a limited time after broadcast. The editorial line is Christian, with a focus on Bible-centred content.

The audience is German-speaking listeners worldwide who want Christian teaching and encouragement. The stream is delivered as AAC audio at a modest bitrate, which keeps it usable on slower connections and mobile devices. Detailed programme schedules and presenter lists are published on the official BBN German pages rather than in the stream itself.
