Virgin Radio Rock Party

Virgin Radio Rock Party is a web-only channel of Virgin Radio Italia, the national rock-oriented network owned by Mediaset. It is dedicated to upbeat, feel-good rock and pop rock, aimed at listeners who want a party-style mix of well-known guitar-driven songs.

Virgin Radio Italia has broadcast nationally since 2007 and complements its main FM programme with a family of themed webradios covering styles and decades, such as classic rock, hard rock and 70s, 80s and 90s rock. Rock Party is one of these thematic streams. The presentation is in Italian, though the music itself is largely international, and the channel suits listeners across Italy and abroad who simply want rock without interruption.

Expect continuous rock music with very little talk. The stream is a live MP3 feed at 128 kbps in stereo, which works well on both mobile and desktop connections. Detailed playlist information and schedules are not published, so the music selection is described here only in general terms; see the Virgin Radio website for more information about the network and its other channels.
