CBN São Paulo

CBN São Paulo is the São Paulo outlet of CBN (Central Brasileira de Notícias), a Brazilian all-news radio network. It broadcasts news, interviews, analysis, traffic and weather reports and live sports coverage, with talk programmes around the clock for the São Paulo metropolitan area.

CBN is part of Grupo Globo, and the São Paulo station is associated with the 90.5 FM frequency, where it moved from AM in the mid-1990s. Programming is produced in partnership with CBN Rio de Janeiro and the wider network, so national and local content are mixed. Everything is in Brazilian Portuguese and is aimed at listeners who want current affairs, economics, politics, health and culture explained by journalists and commentators.

Expect spoken-word programming rather than music: morning news shows, midday analysis, commentary segments and sports broadcasts, including football. The stream is a live AAC+ feed at roughly 128 kbps, and the broadcaster's own stream metadata labels it News/Talk. Detailed current schedules are published on the CBN website.
