Rádio Bandeirantes - São Paulo

Rádio Bandeirantes São Paulo is the São Paulo station of Rádio Bandeirantes, a Brazilian news and sports broadcaster owned by Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação. It has been on the air since 1937 and is known for journalism, commentary, interviews and reports on the main events in Brazil and abroad.

Sport is a major part of the schedule, with live football coverage and analysis of matches involving the big São Paulo clubs, together with sports news and discussion programmes. The station is part of a wider media group that also includes Band FM and BandNews FM. The broadcast language is Brazilian Portuguese and the audience is mainly in the São Paulo area, though the online stream can be heard anywhere.

The stream is delivered as an HLS feed in AAC at about 64 kbps, which works well on mobile connections. Expect talk, news bulletins and live event coverage rather than continuous music. The station is on 840 kHz AM in São Paulo.
