Nova Classics

Nova Classics is a web radio from the French broadcaster Radio Nova, centred on the station's rare groove catalogue and excerpts from its archives. It revisits Nova's own musical history, covering many genres and eras up to the late 1990s.

Radio Nova is an independent Paris-based station famous for blending world music, soul, funk, hip hop, jazz and reggae. Nova Classics was launched with other digital stations, including Nova Danse and Nova La Nuit, as part of the group's expansion online, and it can be heard on nova.fr, in the Nova app and on other listening platforms. The announcements are in French; the music itself comes from many countries and languages. Detailed playlists and presenters for this particular channel are not published.

Expect a diverse, groove-oriented flow of older tracks and archive moments from Nova's best periods, with little chatter, ideal for listeners who enjoy digging into forgotten records. The stream is MP3 at 128 kbps in stereo, served over HTTPS, so it plays in practically any browser, phone or connected speaker.
