Capital FM Manele

Capital FM Manele is an online radio channel from Romania dedicated to manele, a popular Romanian music style with roots in Balkan, Roma and Oriental influences. The stream identifies itself as Capital FM Manele and carries the genre label manele.

The channel belongs to the Capital FM online brand at capitalfm.ro, which offers several themed streams. It should not be confused with Capital FM stations in the United Kingdom or elsewhere, which are unrelated. Songs are sung in Romanian, and the audience is mainly Romanian speakers at home and abroad who enjoy this style of party and folk-pop music.

Listeners can expect a continuous run of manele tracks, from current hits to older favourites, with little else in between. The stream is an MP3 feed at 128 kbps in stereo, served over HTTPS, and works in browsers and radio apps. Details about ownership and the programme schedule are not published on the pages reviewed, so none are claimed here.
