Radio Capital Funky Town

Radio Capital Funky Town is an Italian webradio devoted to funk and soul, with a focus on the grooves of the 1970s and 1980s. It is one of the themed digital channels offered alongside the main Radio Capital service, and it plays only music rather than a talk-driven schedule.

The Radio Capital brand belongs to GEDI Gruppo Editoriale, which also owns Radio DeeJay and m2o. The webradios are listed on the Capital website, where Funky Town is presented as the channel for listeners who love the best funky sounds of those two decades. The interface and station branding are in Italian, while the songs are mostly in English, as is typical of the genre.

Expect classic funk, soul and disco-tinged tracks, including well-known hits and more rare grooves, in a continuous music flow. The stream is delivered as HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) with AAC audio at roughly 128 kbps, which suits modern browsers, phones and most current players. Details such as the exact playlist and presenters are not published on the station page.
