Blu Radio

Blu Radio is a Colombian news and talk radio network whose national signal is carried by stations such as HJCK on 89.9 FM in Bogotá. It broadcasts news, political analysis, interviews, opinion and live sports coverage, and is one of the country's most listened-to talk radio brands.

The network was launched in 2012 by the Santo Domingo group, which had earlier sold Caracol Radio, and it is associated with the Caracol media family. It competes with other national talk networks such as Caracol Radio and W Radio. The programming is in Spanish and is aimed at a general adult audience across Colombia, mixing morning news shows, regional reports and sports.

The online stream is the national signal, delivered through StreamTheWorld as 256 kbps MP3 stereo over HTTPS. Local frequencies in other cities may carry their own inserts, but this feed represents the national service. Expect mostly spoken content, with hosts, guests and reporters discussing current events, politics, the economy and sport throughout the day, and only occasional music.
