Radio Tropical Tarapoto

Radio Tropical Tarapoto is a Spanish-language radio station from Tarapoto, a city in the San Martín region of the Peruvian Amazon. Directory listings describe it as a Latin music station, and it is also available on the web through this online stream.

Peruvian jungle-region stations like this one typically serve a local audience with popular Latin and tropical music, and some regional news or announcements. The station's own site and genre details are not published in the stream metadata, which lists the genre only as unspecified, so the exact programme mix, ownership and broadcast frequency could not be verified. Other stations of the same name exist elsewhere in Peru, so this one should not be confused with them.

The stream is delivered over HTTPS as MP3 at 96 kbit/s in stereo, suitable for desktop and mobile playback. Being online, the stream can be heard from anywhere, not only within the station's local broadcast area.
