SomaFM Secret Agent

This stream carries SomaFM's Secret Agent, the soundtrack for your stylish, mysterious and dangerous life, and for spies and private investigators too. The music blends lounge, downtempo, 1960s spy-film themes, jazz and samba with modern electronic tracks that keep the cool, cinematic mood, with twangy guitars, vibraphones, brass stabs and slinky basslines setting an air of intrigue and elegance.

SomaFM is an independent, listener-supported internet radio station that has broadcast from San Francisco since 1999 and plays no commercials. This entry is a low-bandwidth version: AAC at only 32 kbps. At that rate, the sound is noticeably less detailed than the standard streams, but it uses very little data and starts quickly, which makes it practical on weak mobile networks, on a metered plan or for background listening on a slow connection. If you have a good connection, RadioKite also lists higher-quality versions of the same channel, which are better suited to headphones and home audio. The artist and title are displayed as tracks change, and you can add this entry to your favourites.
